For this class I shall be following ArtForum International. It seems to be a pretty comprehensive journal that could expose me to new art and new ways of thinking. I really haven't been exposed to much in the world of art.
Hey Nathan - Well, I think Artforum will introduce you to a lot. It does for me: good writers introducing me to artists, of all media, that I have never heard of, or barely know.
Each issue is really rich. I wouldn't just wait for, or limit yourself to, film or video artists. Articles about other media, exhibitions, scholars, would also be of interest, I think. I am quite enjoying the current issue's focus on Michael Clark, for instance.
Anyway, solid choice. I hope it broadens your horizons and I look forward to reading your posts. See the D2L site for guidelines for the next post due October 29.
